Trent Boyd joined Caballo Loco Midstream as Vice President of Operations and Commercial after 10 years of midstream experience with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and Western Midstream. After earning his Chemical Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin, he began his career with Anadarko as a field facilities engineer in Kermit as growth in the Permian and Delaware Basins became revitalized. After years of upstream and midstream field experience, he led the design and installation of hundreds of production facilities including Anadarko’s Tankless Wellsite infrastructure. He served as a commissioning engineer and manager, during which time he led the commissioning of Train 2 of Western Midstream’s Mentone Gas Plant. Trent most recently served as project manager for Western Midstream’s salt water disposal facility.
Trent brings a meticulous attention to detail that has translated to improvements in both commercial models and asset operations. He pushes those around him to craft uncommon solutions and ideas to resolve longstanding issues where others have failed or turned away. He moves the company forward by uplifting and empowering those around him to propose, evaluate, and advance safe and sound plans.
